1. Alright, use the spoiler-tag everyone...

    I wish I had tickets
  2. I just made an all Muse CD to listen to in the car, mostly for my brother to become more acquainted with them before we go see them in September. It goes:

    Knights
    Supremacy
    Interlude/Hysteria
    Panic Station
    Supermassive Black Hole
    Map of the Problematique
    Butterflies & Hurricanes
    Resistance
    Undisclosed Desires
    Madness
    Time is Running Out
    Plug In Baby
    New Born
    Stockholm Syndrome
    Uprising
    Starlight

    hope that helps!
  3. One really can't argue with that mix - a nice mix of everything.

(Aside from the lack of "Bliss"....sorry, it just slipped out).
  4. Fitting a whole (and great) discography into an 80 minutes CD is pretty hard, but you have a great mix there. Maybe just switch Undisclosed Desires for Bliss and boom
  5. If you're looking to start getting into Muse, there's really no better way than to just pick up an album and throw yourself into it. Don't spend too much time listening/analyzing each song to decide if you like it. If it sounds good, keep it. If not, set it aside because you might just randomly decide to listen to it and it will become your new favorite song. Repeat for each album in whatever order.

If this chaotic approach raises some eyebrows, that's how I got into Muse. They're weird in that they don't necessarily have songs that "grow" on you. You could seriously listen to a song one day and hate it, never hear it again for months, and come back and be obsessed with it.
  6. ^ not a bad way to get into them at all. However I think that a "best of" is the best way - but to each their own

I've learnt some spoilers without wanting them. A Muse-fans facebook page I follow posted a wide pic of the stage that I couldn't avoid since it appeared in my facebook timeline, and even though I tried not to look at it, I have seen more than I wanted. And, although no concrete song was mentioned, too many friends of mine were raving about some song last night on Twitter, so I guess they must have introducted Muscle Museum (as rumoured/told) or some other rarity/oldie. Not a bad thing - but then again, more than I'd like to know. I don't know if this spoiler-free madness can go on until the first week of July - I'm basically going insane hahaha
  7. You show's on July 6th, right?

Best of luck to you, Sergio, in avoiding the spoilers. You'll need it.
  8. Yes it is. Rome, Stadio Olimpico. I'm sure it will be epic - even if I cannot avoid the spoilers until then
  9. going to emirates in the morning to see muse, planning to stand Saturday and sit sunday for a different experience. for once uk weather looks ok...we shall see...

I have a good bunch of friends that will be standing on both concerts, so if you spot some Spanish flags you know who they are Have a great time Alan!
  11. Saw some spanish flags yesterday and a colombian one as well, lot's of french people too... but I'm done with Muse, Matt trying to act more and more like Bono just doesn't work, was the 16th times I saw them and probably the last one, I hope it was just a bad day but after the arena tour of last year, I'm not even sure... I hope for all of you who are going to see them it will be better...
  12. Oh, I'm so sorry for you I agree that they have progressively got worse throughout the years... Like many other bands. The energy slowly disappears, the style changes... I'm still looking forward to Rome, though.
