1. Whilst we're kinda on the topic of games and tablets, there is a game for the iPad that is currently free called "Amazing Fingers". It's a puzzle game in which you have to move different coloured circles to zones using multiple fingers. Think of it as Twister, but for your hands. A very refreshing concept I think.
  2. Hello,
I'm not a techhead so pardon my ignorance, but I have a number of iPod ready U2 video concerts that I synced to my iPad thinking they would work. They didn't. How do you convert these videos or are there any iPad ready videos available here?
  3. Currently learning jQuery. Very interesting stuff...

Do they show up in iTunes?
  5. Galaxy Nexis going well. Despising Samsung's build but getting on well enough with stock android. Will probably keep this until the next Nexus and use the money I'd have spent on the 4 for more cycling gear.
  6. Will finally get my Pebble this weekend, shipping indicates it's on his way to it's final destination. Backed on the 9th of April 2012 it's the gadget I'm anticipating at for more than a year, can't wait to finally wrap it around my wrist

Let's see how the big companies come up with their versions of the "iwatch" later this year.
  7. I have a confusing question for what something is called.

The little mesh piece on a vocoder microphone where you speak into - what is that called ? I need to get that part replaced as it looks like mine has frayed and so not sure what it's called if I'm looking around for a replacement.

    Thanks!!!

Remy, you never gave us a review of the Pebble!
  10. Thanks Ali, that'll be it.

  11. Here we go! Not a real review, but the opinion I love it, it changed my way of living with a phone. Whenever my phone vibrates in my jeans I now look at my watch to see what the message is, or who's calling. Saves me quite some time!

The two-way communication API is just released, as was the watchface API a while ago, of which the latter is amazing (to have 8 different type of watches) and the first one offers a lot of great integrations (Runkeeper has already done it).

Of course still some things to improve (on iOS not all messages are received on the watch, you need a jailbreak for Whatsapp for instance, which is an Apple limitation ). I highly doubt Whatsapp will include Pebble integration in their app but one can hope.

It's time for a new era! The smart watches
  12. Sounds very interesting, and I sure would prefer to not have to check the damn brick that is the smartphone every few minutes! I just wasn't sure if it would be as useful as I imagined...but it has your endorsement now!

I believe there is going to be a few other options on smart watches soon, there is the Pebble...I seem to remember Sony having released a similar but much more limited device, and I hear Apple is working on one too...I'll wait a bit more and see who has the lead
