1. one gig left ... then Darkness and then .. party ...

it's nice to read "whinings" about setlists on a .. U2 forum .. hehe
i think that after around 100 concerts .. around 200 songs ... around many many surprises .. it''s hard to keep the bar always high or higher ... what kind of peaks have we already got till now?
even in "standard" nights there's at least one special moment, small or large. Napoli had some designed for that night, Munich had Seaside for example (second time in Europe).
that said of course "critics" are always welcome also to add elements of discussion

and Sergio i can tell you 99,99% of people in Munich enjoyed the night ... but that is another and better perspective
  2. Has Bruce announced US tour dates yet?

If he hasn't, I really hope they don't do another leg. If the tour finished in Australia it would have been a legendary, spectacular tour, but man, this leg is detracting from that status and fast.
  3. i'm in seventh heaven he's still touring in Europe again
there are elements for which one could argue he should have stopped after Europe or US last year too ..

my overall opinion of the tour doesn't move of any comma

no us dates announced tour currently scheduled to end at rock in rio september.

maybe it's time for him to follow prince's example. Mainstream 'normal' (well as normal as it can be for Prince) gig complete with hits etc followed by smaller gig with less well known obscure stuff in the set. Seems slightly odd to me that he played such varied sets in australia without steve and now steve's back he's got him predominantly playing an album whose completion saw him walk out on the band.
  5. My wishes for the 2 concerts:

    More:
Wrecking Ball, Magic and Working on a dream tracks.
And: Thunder Road, Jungle Land, Youngstown, The Ghost of Tom Joad, Because the Night, Cover Me.

Listened to Frankfurt 2012, Crystal Cat, very good recording, only guitars to low or Steve and Nils are drinking beer in a "beerstube". And missing Land of hope and dreams, American Land.

Also listened to St Louis 2008, great audio, setlist not so interesting to my personal opinion.

Yeah I really don't understand it. I thought it would have been the other way around over here. Not sure what's going on. But I must say that I did think that by the time the guys got around to Hanging Rock, they were looking tired and like they didn't want to be up there on the stage. Some of the guys really looked like they weren't overly interested. Maybe that has finally caught up with them

there's a long break after milan - though maybe that's to give his ears a rest after the italians have done with him - and then there's not really a lot of dates to go to the end.
