  1. Oh god I hope Glastonbury is nowhere near this album, but you make very good points.

    EDIT: Listening to Glastonbury after posting that, it's not a bad song as long as they get rid of the lyrics, I've never been one to call U2 pretentious, but who the hell takes it upon themselves to write a song about a festival they've never played at?
  2. Well, you know the answer to that question. After all, the right to be ridiculous is something Bono holds dear.

    I'm not a fan of the Glastonbury song either, but I could see the riff getting used somewhere. In the old days, those tracks could surface on a b-side, but the concept of the b-side seems to have died with the cd single.
  3. True. All we get now are remixes that I don't really care about. I dunno, I guess it'll depend on the album, but I'll be disappointed if the first single is something we've already heard, unless it sounds totally different.

  9. Well this is the most definitive of a date we've gotten so far, so even if the sources aren't very clear, we at least have something to work with.
