1. Thanks again for the second show LSMelo.
This one has the problems with the drum too.
  2. i've got problems with mega, i cant dowload...
but technically, Wolfgang´s Vault streaming is 320k, when you record directly with audacity, and convert onto WAV or flac formats, you dont lose quality from streaming (320 khz, as MP3), if you convert again in MP3, you lose again quality...
  3. If you encode what you've recorded directly to MP3 320 you don't lose anything. Lineage would be WV Stream (320kbps) > Audacity > record in raw > export to mp3 320kbps.
  4. Many thanks for the links...

I've just listened to both nights and the sound is really good.

These JT shows just burst with energy.

    Keep'em coming!!

That lineage has losses. Or i misunderstand your point.

  6. I'm not saying it's lossless (it obviously isn't), I'm saying that if you record a stream that's mp3 320 kbps and you export it directly from your raw recording to mp3 kbps, you aren't losing anything - I think.
  7. I think they mean you don't lost anything further. Like recording 320kbps > WAV gives you the maximum quality that you can have from the audio that you are trying to record

Not like trying to record a 320kbps stream to 128kbps straight up. There you lose even more of the quality. Recording 320kbps > WAV gives the highest bitrate and quality you can possibly get, therefore losing nothing of the original stream's quality.

    My point is the opposite.

Recording the 320 kbps stream to raw, then encoding it to WAV doesn't give you anything better (only more bandwith/hard disk usage) than recording it and then encoding it directly to 320 kbps.

A 320 kbps is lossy - that's a fact. Encoding it to WAV doesn't mean it's suddenly gonna become lossless - it's still lossy, only with a bigger file size.
  9. Pretty sure your point is the same..

  10. If I were to record the WV stream, I wouldn't do stream>audacity>WAV, I would go stream>audacity>mp3 (at the same bitrate, bit depth and sample rate than the original stream). Doing WAV would be just a waste of time and space. And of course could lead to misunderstandings or "misdownloadings" if someone believed it was real lossless.

Try it with Google Chrome. Even you don't use it as main Internet browser could be useful.

If you don't manage to download it I will send you the links in 4shared or something like that.
