1. Thats pretty close, must be something like 5 minutes by car or 10 by public transport. I'd go San Siro is always special (I think you might know by now hahaha)...

attended the manchester show at the weekend, pleased to report that Jon and the band were on top form throughout and Richie's absence wasn't as glaringly noticable as i assumed it would be.

Basically this. Great night! Haven't been able to stop listening to them since

When/if a bootleg comes available, I'd appreciate a heads up
  4. "Unlike if this were, God forbid, the Edge, and he for some reason couldn't make a U2 show, [then] it would be very difficult to just step in," he said.

-Richie Sambora, on his own absence
  5. All this Richie stuff bores me. I mean, the band is called BON JOVI due to his unquestionable leader and frontman, it's not comparable to The Edge/U2. Richie is nowhere near as essential as The Edge is to U2 or Jimmy Page was to Led Zeppelin or Brian May to Queen, etc.
If U2 was called Bono Band (with all that would imply, musically, etc), The Edge could probably be absent from a show or a tour and be substituted no prob. But U2 are a band which everyone reckons as essentially guitar-oriented and with a very, very unique guitar sound (something that doesn't apply to Bon Jovi in my humble opinion)... Not comparable. Richie is over-acting and giving himself more importance than he deserves - sorry for the sincerity.
  6. It's childish between the both of them. They are both at fault. Just get back together before I see them in Glasgow in three weeks time, please.
  7. BJ tonight! I'm actually pretty excited, and although I'm not a super fan, now I know and like most of the songs they're regullarly playing.

You can expect a good audio recording and possibly some video (if not a full recording) from me I don't know how is the Bon Jovi bootleg world, but I'm sure that full recordings are not that common, so it might be useful and worth the hassle
  8. "BJ tonight" - LOL!

    Enjoy it Sergio

I look forward to your recording too, still not found one for Manchester
  9. Good luck Sergio !!!

    I want the audio too
  10. LOL best of luck
  11. Tim, Kieran, you dirty minds.

Just got home, tired and happy. The recording hasn't resulted as good as I hoped and there's a good part of it missing (from the end of Love's The Only Rule till the end) because of a battery failure, but anyway... I did what I could.

I had paid the cheapest ticket (18€ for a high, faraway nosebleed) but I managed to get into the pit. I was laid against the sound desk, which helped me to get this:

The wildcards chosen were Always and These Days. Wow, the Have a Nice Day > Livin' On A Prayer > Always > These Days combo has to be one of the best show closers ever. It's been awesome.
