I actually think I'm with you on this one, ade.

I've seen pretty much all of the top 30 or so songs of Bruce and some of them just wouldn't tickle my fancy to be seeing if Bruce chose the set.

U2's on the other hand, well lots of those songs I haven't seen, and, I would love to! Things like An Cat Dubh, October etc

so it's better you choose the songs for U2 i think

    baptism of Kieran today
  2. given the choice i'd throw in shadows and tall trees, stories for boys, sort of homecoming, hawkmoon, hearltland, acrobat, so cruel into the usual u2 set but i'd make wholesale changes to what bruce considers his current setlist
  3. take a break from btx Ade hehehe

the U2 tour is seriously needed i think hehe
  4. 2 years ...

    ciao C
  5. Drive All Night and Jungleland in the set tonight?
  6. Reading a review of the Wembley show, apparently Bruce "offered" the crowd a choice between full Darkness and more requests.. Who the hell would have ever voted for full Darkness over request upon request?

No wonder the nhs is at breaking point there's thousands who need psychiatric attention right there.

i just listened to the relevant bit he says "we can keep taking requests or we can play darkness on the edge of town in full'.

    that's ten requests missed

    so eg incident/frankie/thundercrack/tunnel/brilliant disguise/from small things/roulette/nyc serenade/growing up/saint in the city

If that happens at leeds i will slap each and everyone of them

  8. Yes, first witness of Springsteen live!

If it's the second anniversary of Clemons, I can see the full Born to Run album played - just a gut feeling.
  9. I'm almost tempted to request, what I think, is a poor song of Springsteen's. Spare Parts, maybe?

Realistically, I'd love him to play Sherry Darling which he has been playing recently...
  10. Spare Parts is not poor at all .. why are you tempted to request it if you think so?

  11. I don't know, I'd just find it funny. Come on, Ronnie, it's piss poor! It sounds like a car crash. It's hard to say that about a Springsteen song, but it's just not good.
