  1. EDGE ON LEAD VOCALS?!?!?!?!?!?! YESSSSSSSSSSSSS

  2. Maybe this might indicate that Edge might sing part of a lead vocal and Bono assisting in some way... or just an Edge vocal all the way.
  3. Edge's voice is probably better than Bono's these days for certain things - certainly singing high and stuff, Bono sounds very out of breath at times on all their recent recordings.

    The only problem with Edge's voice is that it is quite nasal, but having him on lead vocals should be interesting.
  4. I love Edge's singing voice. Love is Blindness on From The Sky Down and Van Diemen's Land are great pieces of work.
  5. Edge on main vocals is, at least, exciting and interesting. He hasn't been since Numb, am I right? (not counting the Miracle Drug verses)
  6. Yup, not since Numb. That song came out in 1993 so... wait! Should the album be released this year, that means it'll be 10 years between Numb and the new song with Edge's lead vocal!

  8. Is that a song from the Spidy musical? Either way I doubt the majority of the wider public knows about it, except those whose seen the musical. I think the new lead vocal will still surprise people. Maybe that IS the new Edge vocal.

  12. Well regardless of peoples arithmetic, hopefully by the end of the year it will be zero years since we've had a song released with Edge on lead.
