General Jots:
--The Fly was awesome, as it should.
--I loved Bono's comments as The Fly. He's really uncomfortable in that leather, huh?
--Even Better Than the Real Thing & Until the End of the World were both on fire.
--Dirty Old Town & Tryin' to Throw Your Arms Around the World were hilarious. Like a fish needs a bicycle.
--Bono's voice gets the better of him... a lot. (New Year's Day/I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For/Bad/Running to Stand Still/Streets/Ultra Violet)
--Will the people who keep screaming "BONO" and whistling loudly just shut up?!
--What in the world was going on during Pride? Weird lyrics, malfunctions, what the...
--Love Is Blindness & Can't Help Falling in Love were the best vocals of the night.
Final Thoughts:
I was rather disappointed with this show, to tell you the truth. The band was strong, but Bono was not. It makes me think that Bono should never drink the night before a gig, because I feel like a similar thing happened on the First Leg Elevation Indiana show.
It's a crying shame.
