True but I bet most of the U2 fans will know it It's a great vocal and a great song.
  2. Yeah I was about to point out Sinistero which I really like btw! That's good news though! It better be true!

  3. Well, Zooropa came out in 1993 and the new album will apparently be released this year - 2013 (if the band decides not to keep working on the album)

*does the math* Oh... 20! Not 10!

Math was never my strong subject. And that was basic too.
  4. Get HYPED!

Also, in case you haven't seen U2's cover of "This Is," you should check it out immediately. If Bono's voice is anything remotely close to that, we're going to be in for a real treat.

    where can I find it?

  6. Think he means this

Have to say Adam looks as chillaxed as a pair of dangling dogs bollocks in that video. I never cease to be amazed at how legendary that man is.

Edit: Opps, just seen it on the other thread.

Awesome rumor, thanks Sergio . Sounds very U2-esque!

Hopefully EBW has been reworked - second song must kick ass. But I trust U2 are on the right track; SBS and the cover both showed a very confident band.

I also like the NYC theme - will it announce a new course, like Berlin did in 1991? Unlikely, but let's see!

    Watched it only once...

I tried to make a clear line of delineation between the two different sources.

The part about the private listening party I need no further confirmation on. It's legit. And it is 100% in line with what we think we know.. Ie, that no details are being allowed "out".

The second source, with the track list, should obviously be treated with caution, although he got some things right so there's that.

I temper that, however, with the knowledge that employees and people being invited to listen, such as the person mentioned at the outset, are under strict orders not to release any info. This casts no small amount of further doubt, in my mind.

So what's it all mean? I think it's safe to say that with all these listening invitations, we can rest assured that the album is mostly, if not completely, finished. Great news!

    in what sounds U2-esque?
  12. In the song and album titles, I guess.

I don't find them specially U2-ish except the 2 we already know, Skyline, Black Pictures and Nobody Island. Maybe World Press II too, as the press world seems to fascinate Bono lately (Cedars?).
