1. What I'm saying is that it would be a poor show to bang something quite old as a new track. Not sure i even like it.

  2. I knew that one, but expected you had more than a verse and a chorus. I think it sounds a bit like Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own (the SYCMIOYO solo would fit right in).

    Cool track, imo.

  3. I still don't think they'd use anything close to that clip, but I can see your point. I'd rather 2 new songs as well, but I'll take two I've heard but with a new treatment that I already know could be good than two crap songs like White As Snow and/or Stand Up Comedy.
  4. I don't care. Both songs are good so I'm happy to get two (new?) studio versions of these.

Anyone think this might be one of the songs?
    U2 - Mystery Demos, 2012
  6. I hope so, I always thought that demo had a lot of potential.

Bump that piano, add some much needed bass and lyrics and stuff, you've got yourself an awesome song.
  7. Here's my opinion on the whole thing, if it is in fact real:

Manhattan, as well as the names of some of the songs, make this album appear to be ATYCLB 2 for me. Maybe it's the whole Manhattan/New York thing, idk, but thats just how I'm feeling about it for now. A lot of the song names just sound like they could also be something from ATYCLB.

With EBW being back: good. I always thought the song had a lot of raw potential when they played it in 2010.

With North Star being back: shit. That Youtube'd Transformers 3 version sucked. Plus, I always kinda thought that it was too much of a "Space Station/360 song" to go on to be a new song on a new album. That's one of the main reasons I question this rumor so much.

With Chris Martin on Earth 2030: Viva la Coldplay ... the title and the rumor Chris is on it makes me wonder what the songs about, whether it's about the poverty thing as mentioned before... or something completely different. With CM supposedly on vocals, could this be a song about the future and passing the torch to a new generation of musicians? Just a thought. Maybe I don't know what I'm talking about

Always good to see something new on this topic though, makes me feel like we are getting closer and closer to the real deal
  8. HYPE!

I'm loving all the rumors going around. It really seems like the wheels are in motion now.
  9. Interesting titles. I'll take a gamble right now and say 'Everybody Knows Who I Like' sounds like a funky Vaudeville song with a bit of groove.
  10. I am pretty sure there is a picture around of a store that announced the album release to be October 2012, but thanks for sharing Sergio.
