1. Okay guys, the band Wire is coming to my town in a few weeks. I don't really like them too much but the tickets are very cheap, and it seems like it would be a good show. BUT I absolutely hate the venue that it is at, very small and uncomfortable. Should I go?
  2. Yes.

    Tonight: Local H
    Tomorrow: Jimmy Eat World
  3. Editors tomorrow
  4. Local H were great as always. Fun time.

Jimmy Eat World....holy SHIT! I have been a HUGE Jimmy Eat World fan since 2001, so that makes 12 years, and I've never made it around to seeing them live. WHAT. A. MISTAKE.

Last night they played 25 songs, including all but TWO of my all time favorite Jimmy songs. I haven't thrown myself into a concert as much as last night's since U2 in 2011. I can barely feel my legs from the knee down. We ran up to the 2nd row by the end of the show just because we said "fuck it!" and it looked like there was room.

I'm just still reeling. Got a setlist and everything afterwards....can't even believe how much fun it was. It's sitting pretty at my #3 show of the year right now, which is going to piss one of my friends off so much haha...he'll never understand why a band so currently irrelevant as Jimmy Eat World topped most of my Coachella shows.

    OH WELL!
  5. I'm not much into Jimmy Eat World but I perfectly know Jim Adkins, their guitarist (or one of them, don't know)... Mainly because he gives name to (and also plays, I think) one of my favorite guitars ever haha
  6. By the way...

i will see Muse and Arctic Monkeys on Saturday and Wednesday respectively... and we MIGHT make it to the Sting show - that would be epic.

They were both awesome. The Italian audience did true honor to their reputation, specially in the Monkeys show. AWE-SOME.
