  6. It's so moving to see Bono besides something that you have written with your own hands. Oh God how I wish I meet them someday

    Venu en voisin de sa propriété d'Èze, où il passe l'été, comme chaque fois que U2 n'est pas en tournée, Bono participait hier après-midi à Nice au dévoilement d'une plaque en hommage à son compatriote James Joyce.

    Interrogé en aparté sur les projets de son groupe, dont un nouvel album est attendu dans les mois à venir, Bono a confié en souriant que le disque était "très près d'être terminé". Quant à l'éventuelle participation de U2 au concert inaugural du nouveau stade de Nice, le chanteur a été clair : "On a trop hâte de jouer au nouveau stade ! Pour U2, jouer à Nice c'est comme jouer à la maison. Mais le groupe ne sera certainement pas prêt à tourner aussi rapidement. On viendra sûrement à l'inauguration mais, pour un concert, il faudra attendre un peu. Probablement en 2014."

    Le rendez-vous est pris. Pour le coup, ce sont les fans de U2 qui vont être « jouasses » !

    Maybe someone with a deeper knowledge of the Frech language can provide some more info, but from what I'm reading, Bono says 1) it's probable that U2 go back on tour in 2014 althought they're not quite ready yet, 2) they will be playing at the new stadium in Nice, 3) playing Nice is almost like playing "home" already, and 4) the album is really close to be finished.
