1. full set live from t in the park on bbc3 this sunday
  2. Is there a bootleg for the wembley show?
    Haven't found one yet...

    Any hints? Thx

  3. I don't think there will be. They recorded it for a DVD (and hopefully another live CD too ), so I don't think they would have been allowing recording at Wembley other than fans with video cameras. I could always be wrong of course, and I hope I am, I would love to get my hands on that show!

    Didn't know that!
    Would be a great alternative

Oh well, there's something called "stealth taping" I mean, most bands/management offfices/venues do not allow taping - and still there are bootlegs from a good percentage of the shows. I know what I'm talking about: I myself recorded Muse's show in Rome last week, which was being filmed for a DVD too
  6. Not the best cover, but still amazing. I KNEW I had to be in the Phoenix Park the other day, seeing my guys and Two Door Cinema Club. Now I regret not attending the show even more.

  7. still don't get why they haven't done the Ultraviolet cover yet

  8. I thought the same thing the other day. Not that it's the best cover off Akh-Toong Beibi of course, but they're the only band off that tribute album that constantly plays covers from other bands at their regular shows... I think they could have played it at some of the Irish shows they've played this year. Oh well.
  9. True, but maybe they decided not to play it because there could have been people out there not as familiar with the song. Pride is much more recognizable than UV.

Psh, what am I saying. Theres no such thing as an Irishman that doesn't like U2 right? hahaha
  10. Well, you would be surprised at how false can that last statement be But you have a point. Of course WOWY or Pride are more known and easier to sing along, and that's the point of the pre-Read My Mind cover after all.
  11. By the way, I was watching the T In The Park stream yesterday and, besides the terrible audio quality (Dave's guitar was particullarly terrible, disappearing at times from the audio feed), I focused on something I had alreay noticed:

Brandon has serious problems to be perfectly in tune when the music is quiet or when there's mainly drums & bass. It happens live in many songs (the start of Bling, the middle eight of Spaceman (my global position system, etc), the start of FRU -yesterday it was specially awful-, Glamorous Indie R&R, the start of I Can't Stay and almost the whole of Shadowplay) but it also happens in studio (Shadowplay, the end of Bling come to mind).
Of course it's not like he's completely out of tune, he's a trained singer and a gifted musician after all, but he lacks some fine adjust and it bothers me a lot.

    #Rant
