Looks like a quality show, can't wait to see what ade has to say. Plenty of tracks/outtakes etc so I guess he's assuming most of the people there know his stuff well
that was incredible, 15 songs in before the crap turned up and then only two of them (shackled and sunny day i can live with) and little in the way of messing about songs, no twist and shout, no light of day, no american land, no glory days. i swear you could feel the relief from the front when no surrender came out early. Sound was great - not keen on the venue, though the sound was better than most, not keen on some of the people in it to be honest - leeds, after all these years, still has the same idiots who think they should shout out during quieter bits - should i fall behind - i know it's not my favourite song but i've paid to listen to him not you. God bless whoever had the thundercrack sign, i've waited nearly thirty years for that song - if we are being pedantic above that should say UK PREMIERE, secret garden should say TOUR PREMIERE, EUROPEAN PREMIERE, i told clover yesterday i thought it might come. knew we weren't getting the river (don't think anyone is) when roulette opened but i thought we were getting WIESS until thundercrack. It desperately needed racing after because the night. It's not the venue for u2, don't ask me why i just get that feeling. Surprised he didn't come on till nearly 8 but if he had to be off by 11 it's ridiculous - at the university up the road that's only just past starting time.
some cold not so cold numbers of what happened there
Thundercrack not only UK premiere but also only the 2nd time in Europe
Secret Garden, great shot Ade , i posted the 3 dates it appeared before but 2 of them are not on tour
Gotta Get That Feeling? 2 date in Asbury Park (and in what venues!!!) 2010-11
Local Hero? second time with the E street
Atlantic City? don't know if ever in the encore
Badlands->Born To Run 2 classics always played but what a roof blowing sequence
This Depression one of the less played song of the latest album and only Norway saw it last year outside US
you could (but you shouldn't hehe) say where are the so called big ones? -> Something in the Night
i think there's enough to say you got your deserved
always trust in Bruce but i know you know even in his "bad" times hehe
i think it's a venue that will primarily appeal to stand up comedians - it's either an arena trying to be a theatre or a theatre trying to be an arena - it's somewhat schizophrenic. With all seats in it would be nice for the all-seated artists but that top part looks like everest so glad i got moved down.
