  2. Any UK folk following Luther? Sadly looking like the last series because MrElba is too darn cool. Better than Sherlock.

    Gotta love the summer shows, Dexter, Breaking Bad, Suits and lots of other great newcomers (Graceland, Under The Dome etc.).

  5. The issue I have with Sherlock goes by the name of Jeremy Brett. I can't help but compare the old Granada seasons to the new hip ones and there's only one winner. Luther has no such issues.

    I see. I read the canon about ten times, but only saw the most recent adaptions: Robert Downey Jr, Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller. That's an easy win for Cumberbatch.

    I will watch Luther soon.

  9. Yes, I feel really sorry for him. It's quite fascinating how you start to identify with a character that everyone hated before.

    The mud scene was great, by the way.

  11. Yes definitely. I'll start watching some early season 5 episodes in the next few days to get myself starting again. It's been so long, too long.
  12. i agree! splitting the finale season in half was a devilish move. i'm pounding through the back end of season 4 for a recap (the upside of a long, uneventful summer break!)
