What a great site this is.
One of my favourite shows is the Wembley 15/11/84 show from the unforgetable fire tour.I had it on cassette for years and downloaded it again.
There is a skip/jump on 11o'clock tick tock at 2:27 and I can't remember if this was on the copy I had?
Is this on the original recording/source or is it a flaw on the upload?

Do you have an mp3 copy downloaded from here, I assume. Ok, I'm gonna check the original FLAC files to see if I spot that skip. If the skip is there, I'm afraid there won't be nothing we can do
The FLAC copy I have has a skip/speed swift at 02:05, in the "lo lo lo ro lo" parts before the last "sing, song sad song" prior to the solo. Is that the same skip you're talking about?

I downloaded the torrent (Lossless)from here.I can't remember this skip on my cassette recording but it has been a long time since I heard it?
I was just wondering if it was a problem with the upload or the original recording?

Memory can serve us badly after a long time. There have been times when I listen to a bootleg again and find myself surprised at how different (better/worse) it sounds from what I remember.
Anyway, can you double check the recording to see if it's the same skip that I pointed out in my previous post?
I'm not at home just now but I'm sure it is although on mines it happens at exactly 2:27?

An annoying thing about this recording is that it runs a bit too fast (with the correspondant shift in pitch, everything sounds in a higher tone than it should). It happens with a lot of old bootlegs, I wish I could fix all of them, it annoys the hell out of me ¬¬
Hi,yes that's the same skip/jump I was talking about.At least I know it isn't a problem with my download.Mine starts with the 4th of July intro hence the time difference

Ok, then I'm sorry for I can't do anything to fix it. I could try to do a double cross fade with a small piece from another 11 O'Clock recording with similar sound in order to make it run smooth and without skip, but I think it's a little overkill for such a small problem
