1. They played Shadowplay with Bernard Sumner (Joy Division and New Order's guitar & keyboard player). Amazing moment for Brandon, for sure.

  2. Just pulled 2 GA tickets for 8/8 at prudential center! Weird.. Ive seen them enough on this cycle so I let them go..Plus NJ crowds are absolutely terrible. They almost ruined the PJ concert in 2010 for me.
  3. Why so? I recall some great U2 shows in the NJ area. I understand you letting go the tix though, there's no point in seeing the same songs performed the same way again

I dont know.... Lately the crowds suck.....I saw Muse twice on the Resistance tour and the show at NJ was not as good because of the crowd...same with Red Hot Chili Peppers and PJ. PJ played a killer set in Newark and the crowd was one of the weakest Ive ever seen.
  5. as the tickets came up i really wished the Killers were a little more loose with their set.I would of snatched those tickets up immediately. Same predictable songs, same banter with the crowd. One and done. Watch them open with Indie RnR ,play sweet talk and play sams town front to back in NJ because I ran my mouth! I still enjoy them but no point in seeing multiple shows. I really enjoyed the Barclay show in Brooklyn plus they did manage to surprise me with Change Your Mind which was awesom..

But you mean boring, static crowds? Well there's been a bit of talk about that regarding US audiences - not just New Jersey's
  7. Shadowplay (The Killers version) is awesome! Epic song!

Yes exactly. Like they don't wanna be there. As soon as the lights go down everyone should be on their feet. When that doesnt happen its hard to fully get lost in the concert fir me. It's incredible. I've been lucky otherwise. I've been to allot of GA club shows this year and its always intense in the pit. I know my hometown Brooklyn crownd won't let me down for PJ in October because the Barclays was wild for the killers and the PJ shows already have an epic feeling surrounding them.

It's hard to go wrong if you're going GA.

But I do agree that if you've got reserved seats, the crowd can be hit/miss depending on a lot of random factors.
  10. Shit. Looked at last nights setlist and they've been playing (and even opening with) Change Your Mind, and have been playing This River.... they play 2 hours away from me tomorrow night, but I may already have other plans. Tickets would be cheap due to scalpers possibly losing money. This is a tough one...

    UH OH.

I'd give away at least one of my guitars for hearing Change Your Mind, even more as the opener. It's one of their "most indie" songs, and it clicks something deep inside of me.

If I were you, I'd drop by. Do they play out or indoors?
