    A Celebration
    Levitate
    Everlasting Love
    Slow Dancing
    Dancing Barefoot
    Luminous Times (Hold on to love)
    The Three Sunrises
    Unchained Melody (full and electric)
    Silver And Gold


    I'd personally throw some others in there, but I doubt many others agree...

  6. How about Levitate? Sure it has the verse that will be used on Miracle Drug, but I really love it cause it "lift(s) me up". It's such a transcendent, electro rock song, plus harmonious in it's melody (sounds like a pre-cursor to Beautiful Day).

    Yep, that's why it's in my list It also evolved into Always, which is a better overal song imo, although clearly "more U2-ish". Levitate has that experimental, electro bit that makes it different. Also, parts of Levitate ended up in City Of Blinding Lights.
    Someone compared it to Lady With The Spinning Head and how it evolved into The Fly, Zoo Station and Ultraviolet. Besides the obvious quality difference between those 3 result songs and Always, Miracle Drug and COBL, the comparison is obviously valid and pretty spot on.

    Very well said, Pato. Guys... GUIZ how did we forget about So Cruel? That's a pretty important one. Silver and Gold, too. It's one of those songs that I just can't see them ever playing again, but it would be really cool. And I think it still has something to give. Maybe wouldn't sound like its former self but that doesn't have to be a bad thing.
