    Oh... No... I wasn't I've seen that rehearsal many times. I was still talking about Red Hill. Apologies.

    I heard that they also rehearsed that, and that it wasn't very good.

    They supposedly rehearsed it prior to the Joshua Tree tour, and then they realized that it was too high for Bono to sing it. No idea if that recording exists. No idea if they've rehearsed it afterwards anytime. But what a shame, it's a great song, one of my favs off TJT

  5. I really feel that every song should be given at least on live outing to see how it goes.

    Cedars of Lebanon is my second-favourite U2 song, and I think it'd be great live. It wouldn't sound a lot like the album version, but then again -- most songs from Pop didn't and many of them were great live songs! Stand Up Comedy, while apparently is not well-liked by many (I enjoy it well enough), also seems like it'd be a live natural, probably much better than the album version.

    I'm still surprised at the number of songs from War that weren't played -- the strong drumbeats and overall punkiness made me think they'd be live naturals: Like a Song (played in full once) and The Refugee especially, and Drowning Man would have made a great live prelude to "40" as a show closer.

    The Unforgettable Fire is not one of my favourite U2 records, but I appreciate the atmospheric qualities and I totally love Promenade -- can't one see it being used as a lead-up to Bad, or to The Unforgettable Fire instead of/alternating with MLK?

    October -- Is That All? and Stranger in a Strange Land both seemed like natural live songs as well. I suppose Is That All? was just too similar to The Cry, but it could have easily replaced it.

    Acrobat, of course, should have been played live plenty -- just imagine it being used to close the ZooTV main set!

    A Man and a Woman should have been played more than it was, which was once and not even in a show! It could have been a nice song to follow Miracle Drug or Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own.

    And Red Hill Mining Town? COME ON, perfect live song!
  6. Drowning Man was much soundchecked before and during 360° tour, it's a shame they never played in a concert (I think the last time they played in a soundcheck was in Dublin)

    I Think Red Hill Mining Town could be work in Lovetown Tour, would be a great song played in some concerts of a great tour, Bono's voice was amazing and band play so much better than Joshua Tree Tour.

    Acrobat played like opening song, like soundchecks in Hershey was cool, but I dream with a full band version someday (very hard, but I can dream)

    When I Look At The World and Stand Up Comedy easily could be part of highlights on their respective tours

    and Fez - Being Born could be a great opening song, or played after Get on Your Boots... also could be played at same position of In a Little While / Zooropa in some concerts.
