    Hello Emiel,

So sorry to hear, but also happy to know that you're home with your family - it's a fantastic family. All best wishes, from me, and (I'm sure) from the entire U2start crew...
  6. Hello Emiel

What else can be said, that has not already said. It's a sad day today. You are still an inspiration for many of us, I guess, based on all your courage and spirit. My thoughts are with you and your family. Godspeed

Really awful. All I can say is that from my impressions of you here, you will be remembered well by people. That's very good. Now, I sincerely wish you a great time with your family!

I am very sorry to hear that, Emiel. You're a tremendously powerful and encouraging person and you didn't deserve this. Nevertheless, facing it all like you've done is nothing but an example for the rest of us.

Walk On... and don't let the bastards grind you down, our band says. I'm sure that your family is having the best time possible with you this days, and I'm glad to see you have such amount of support from them, from your friends (judging from your Facebook profile) and from unknown people all over the world (judging from this thread). This isn't something that everyone can say they have. You are an exceptional fan and I'm sure, even without knowing you personally, that you're an even more exceptional human kind.

Talking about the illness itself, being declared terminal only means that medics think they cannot do anything else - but not all is lost. There are many examples about people declared terminal and then living for many more years. And even if that's not the case, well, you're doing the right thing, spend all the time that's left doing your favorite things with your family and specially with your children. It's difficult to say it this way, but let's be honest: they need to have a great memory of their father, including his final days (whenever they happen, and let's hope they don't come anytime soon).

All the best in the name of all the U2start crew and me personally.

Much love and strenght. Walk On! ♥
  9. Everything is said ... i m really sad ... but enjoy your kids and family ..that have no price ....
  10. It's a very sad day indeed. Try to get the most out of your time left with your family, no obligation to keep us posted here at all.
  11. Like everybody else to hear this news im sad too, may you really enjoy your family and know one day exists the resurrection for people special like you too.
If i cannot forget you certainly God wont forget you Matthew 10:29-31
Love and peace to you oxoxoxoxox
  12. Saddest day I've seen in this place. Yet your strength and spirit are still an example for all of us.
Hope you enjoy these days and hope they last...nothing is written on stone.
As Remy said, don't feel obligated to keep us informed. All our thoughts are with you. However, don't hesitate to post here if you feel it helps even a little bit. Whatever happens, we're here.
