    No, "Uncharted 3" is not even close to being as good as "The Last of Us."
  2. Recently got back into Football Manager. Not everyone's cup of tea, but I'll bore you with the details anyway. Into my second season with Afan Lido, a very small Welsh club that actually plays in Wales. If like me, you're not familiar with the Welsh leagues, the Premier League consists of 12 teams only and you play everyone twice before being split into two separate play-offs. I was predicted to finish 12th. The squad wasn't that good and we had no money to spend. Well I had a transfer budget of £1k but you really can't afford to spend it. The wage budget was £1.3k per week and I kept it below that for much of the season. Going into January I was 7th, only a point or two behind Airbus in 6th. So I decided to break the wage budget and sign two players. Up until this point I'd only signed one player, a 40-year old striker who was brilliant until a long term injury. We managed to overtake Airbus in the last game of the regular season and were guaranteed 6th place (prize money of £6k). Unfortunately, the split meant we had to play everyone above us twice and I only managed to score 7 points from a possible 30.

    However, our cup run was much better during the play-offs and we made it all the way to the final of the Welsh Cup which gave us a chance of qualifying for Europe. Fortunately we won the cup and were given a nice prize of £30k which helped with the debt. It also meant we'd be in the first qualifying round of the Euro Cup (or Europa League in the real world) and would be guaranteed a further £86k for appearing.

    Second season came around and we drew Maribor in Europe. The tie was very early in July so I didn't have time to replace the players we lost through expired contracts at the end of last season. Still, we did well and only lost 5-1 on aggregate. Since then I've signed a few new players and we are currently sitting 2nd after 10 games. The extra money has meant I've been able to sign an extra coach and I made sure he was able to coach the fitness side of the game (his rating is only 4 for fitness but it's better than 0). It's made a noticeable difference in games as we can now hold on much longer and even end games with good fitness levels. My wage bill is considerably lower than last season, around £1k a week which is great for maintaining the positive bank balance we currently have (around £25k).

    It's going to be incredibly tough to break the top of the league though because we're only a semi-professional club which of course has a negative effect on training. The champions, TNS, are a bloody English club for starters and also a professional side. They qualified for the Champions League qualifiers and were given £230k for losing in the first round. Their wage bill is around £40k a week which is ridiculous compared to the rest of the league. Still, we're close to them so far this season despite losing 6-2 away to them. Another season in the Europa League would be great for the club financially and we're in a better position to do that through league qualification this season rather than by winning the domestic cup. Still very early though.

    I never pick a welsh team ... the smallest team i picked once was Bohemians from Ireland and it was interesting how they play their league with the few teams they have ... but i did a very good job with that team ... i took Boheminas to be the best team of Ireland , i got some players in the national team , i lead to the CL groups , but it was fu***ing hard winning a match in the CL .... that make me angry ...

    and i am like Mourinho and i need to win the CL

    Is anyone's social life going to end on the 17th when GTA V comes out? Goodbye outside world, I can do everything in the game and it's more fun
  10. I'll wait til they release a complete edition with every expansion like they did with GTA IV.
    Meanwhile I ordered Batman Arkham Origins, God of War Origins Collection and Ico and Shadow of Colossus Collection

    Yeah, I buy it later but with more content

    Yeh cant wait for this, comes out just before my 2 week uni break, should get my through to November 29.
