  1. Exactly...we need another official 360 DVD. The one they released really doesn't capture/show the magic.

  5. That is the dream... but I will settle for a DVD/CD package of just about any era. At this point they can improvise an anniversary for the next gift. "20 years since the 1993 Zooropa legs" "30 years since the War, here are some demos!" "25 years since Rattle & Hum, here's the Point Depot on DVD/CD!"
  6. For the subscriber's gifts that's totally fine (and I know that's what we're talking about) but as far as I'm concerned all of these anniversary things have left a bad taste in my mouth. I've bought them all, but really the only one I really still take advantage of is the Joshua Tree one because I watch the Paris DVD from time to time. Everything else sits on my "collectors shelf", and while I am glad I own these things it still bugs me when they release them. I know I sound like an idiot, but I'm sure many U2 fans are the same. "Fuck I hate this cash grab, but as a U2 fan there's no way I can NOT have it. DAMN IT."

    I luckily can get over that. If there's something I don't feel like buying (aka the "remasters" of the first 3 albums), I just don't buy it. And if there's something which price I think it's excessive (aka the Joshua and Achtung Baby anniversary boxsets), I have no trouble in waiting a year or even more in order to get them on the cheap.

    And well, Alex (the other Alex), you're right. No news.

  11. I actually am very happy with all the deluxe sets. They all have new tracks and some has live performances. I especially like the AB set with the posters and the two discs with unreleased tracks. The only let downs are the live DVD and the remixes, and that there are no Zooropa demos.
  12. I just heard the 2014 16-stops tour will incl. a venue in Brazil during World Cup (June 12 through July 12).
