1. Hmm the new forground is more realistic though. On the first one the rocks are overexposed. Also i made it a bit more flat for the same reason, this is how I remember it.
  2. Yeah I understand wher eyou are coming from, but if I were to hang it on my wall, I'd want the colour saturation (right term?) of the first photo
  3. Yeah, you are right about that
  4. Is there a way you could combine both?
  5. Sure, I cut it up and processed forground and background individually. This is without the new forground:

  6. woww Chris ...beatiful pics ...and that first one

    That s good holidays
  7. I like the right exposure of the close rocks in the "new" one (not this last one). In fact, and funnily enough, I would take the "old" background and sky, and appy it to the "new" foreground - just as opposed as you did with the last muix haha.

  8. hehehe no , but you were very close to the stage ??

seems you were doing the chorus

That would give more contrast, but the mountains are not so dark in reality

  10. Yeah, it was very easy to get in a first row honestly, I was just basicly staying there for a couple of hours and listening another bands, and that's it I was very lucky that day!

  11. Keep in mind that none of us but you were there, none of us but you know how the scene was really... That said, if I were to choose any edit without knowing the scene and without having to get closer to the real colors and contrast, I would do old background + new foreground. Best exposure plus best contrast, all in one!
