    Again you took our best player Still its better if they move to Spurs since I always like them.
    But its for waaaay to less. Ajax just sells and sells and sells but won't replace the missed players.
  3. What a great Champions League draw It's the toughest group as usual but the six matches will all be amazing. Barcelona, Milan, Celtic and then Ajax Finally Messi on his way to Amsterdam.

    Now only to hope that Barcelona home won't be the first match as I'm on holiday then..

    Champions League has been mighty unfair to Ajax again But as Remy said, no doubt it will be one of the memorable groups. Can't wait to see Celtic get thrashed.

  7. Great draw indeed, with Eriksen and Alderweireld I could see us beat Milan and maybe get trough the next round, but without them I just hope we could leave Celtic below us and reach the Europe League.

    Will surely try to get tickets for maybe all three the matches but Barca and Milan I would like to see. Especially since Kaka will go back to Milan in the coming days.

  8. Very excited for him to be joining, comparing him to a 21 year old Bale, they are pretty close. Hopefully he can fill some of the hole Bale is going to leave.

    I remember you telling me that we were going to sign Vertonghen and how good he was. You were 100% right. Now we're getting Eriksen too by the looks of it.

    How come they dont renew their contracts sooner? They are screwing Ajax out of transfer money.

    I don't know if Eriksen will make it in the Premier League to be honest, Vertonghen is/was a big and strong player while Eriksen is small and fragile and Vertonghen was obviously the best player in Ajax and in the Eredivisie while Eriksen in some matches is invisible.

    The contract issue is something that I really don't understand. Last year Vertonghen and this year Eriksen and Alderweireld. All three good players who are worth more than what they are sold for, our captain; De Jong has 2 years left so next season we will probably have the same situation.

    Since a couple of years Ajax have introduced a maxium for salary (1,5m euro's) and I think thats the reason why players don't extend their contracts, however with Eriksen Ajax didn't even tried.

    He is an excelent player..still young but good
