1. Yesterday was like Christmas for me, Spurs signed 3 players and Chelsea lost

The contract issue is something that I really don't understand. Last year Vertonghen and this year Eriksen and Alderweireld. All three good players who are worth more than what they are sold for, our captain; De Jong has 2 years left so next season we will probably have the same situation.

Since a couple of years Ajax have introduced a maxium for salary (1,5m euro's) and I think thats the reason why players don't extend their contracts, however with Eriksen Ajax didn't even tried.

Papers in England are saying Spurs might loan Ajax Tom Carroll this season. I'd love him to spend a year there, they seem to have a knack for developing young talent, and he wont get many minutes at Spurs behind Dembele, Paulinho, Sandro, Capoue, Eriksen, Holtby and Siggurdson.
  3. What are your thoughts on the game tomorrow, Andrew?

  4. We've only beaten them at Highbury/Emirates once in the last 20 years and with all the new players we've brought in I think they'd need a few games to gel properly. Arsenal wont have this issue since they've signed no one (LOL) but this probably helps them out for this game. They have a few injury concerns though, that might help Spurs out a bit. I'd take a draw considering the above.

Or were u talking about ur mob vs the Dippers haha? I think you guys will win easy, hopefully its 5-0 or something embarrassing like that
  5. I was talking about the North London derby
  6. The Brazilian (Coutinho) though, has no doubt wound up United supporters and players by claiming he'd never heard of Moyes before joining Liverpool. When asked about whether he knew much about the Scottish boss, Coutinho's answer was an unequivocal, "No." He also claimed that as far as he knew, despite the Red Devils' virtually unrivalled recent success, he couldn't remember them winning anything of note. "I don’t remember watching United win any cups," he said. "I remember last season they won the league, that’s as far as I know."

Bizarre. I wonder if he knows what club he transferred from?

He clearly knows nothing about the EPL, he joined a club who has done sweet fcuk all in recent years.
  8. Terrible first half performance. Liverpool are comfortable in all areas. United fans singing "We're shit and we're champions". Much improvement needed in the second half.
  9. Second half starts good for Utd though
  10. Valencia is a joke
  11. A more controlled start to the second half but Liverpool have got back into a bit over the last 10 minutes. There's still time.
