  4. So then, I listened to the remastered version downloaded from iTunes last night.

    Obviously it was a superb listen; it's the Joshua Tree after all.

    Through decent headphones I would say that things are just a little clearer and crisper, less hiss than my prev version (from the Complete U2). Hopefully the CD will improve on this even more. I certainly noticed things more than I had before (like a little bit of drum or something before the guitar starts at the very beginning of ISHFWILF.

    Wave of Sorrow is everyhting we hoped it would be from the previews. Very affecting. Not quite sure about the last couple of lines and how they're done, but otherwise very good.

    Sweetest Thing is much better, cleaned up a lot. It certainly is more listenable for me now. All the B-sides are cleared up although one of the demo's (I forget which now, I'll come back with that) is still very hissy.

    I really liked it, but I still want the package and the DVD.

    If you're waiting until Christmas and want to listen now, it's worth the £10.95 for 25 songs

    I don't actually have them as yet, but doing a general search to see if they'd been released, they have. Through other music download sites, of course which is where I originally got the Unreleased and Rare iTunes demos from.
