  2. Exactly a year ago, I came back home from Tuscany and found out there was a new Muse single called Madness, released at August 20. I loved the song the first time I heard it, and I still do.

    When I like a song, I tend to play it at least five times a day and then, after a while, it gets boring. But I have played Madness more than one thousand times in the past 365 days and I absolutely loved every single time.

    I know a lot of you will disagree, but I think Madness is the best song on Muse's best album. Admit it, the part before the solo is nice, but the part after is just genius.
  3. I like the passion put across when Matt sings the final part, and I like the song, along with the other two either side. As an album its better than Resistance, but it feels abit messy with some filler towards the end. I think an improvement would have been to drop 'Save Me' and put Unsustainable as the first song, drawing the album together with Isolated System at the end.

  10. Well, just got back from the show. Mixed feelings about all of it, as usual in the US we get short shows, and although it was short it was nothing like that Japan show I just read about a couple pages back

    Overall tho, it kicked ass which was good

    Isolated System, Supremacy, Supermassive Black Hole, Hysteria, Panic Station, Resistance, Knights of Cydonia, Feeling Good, Follow Me, Plug in Baby, Liquid State, Madness, Guiding Light, Time is running out, Unnatural Selection, Uprising... - ... Unsustainable, Starlight, Survival.

    Great but short setlist indeed. I would die to hear Unnatural Selection again, I didn't enjoy it properly in my 2010 show and it's now my favorite off The Resistance. And I prefer the closing with Survival instead of Starlight! Glad you enjoyed it so much Andrew!
  12. I thought the roof was gonna come off when they started playing the Star Spangled Banner (national anthem) before Hysteria being September 11th in DC and all.

    And as much as I liked/was surprised by hearing Unnatural Selection, I would have traded it back for NB or SS in a heartbeat.
