1. Got myself to the 'Verify card' page for a standing ticket at Wembley for 'The Wall' on Saturday. The faint voice of responsibility made me turn back.

Visa actually having substracted the money but you having no ticket would be a right punishment imo.

  5. Was Sunday at Roger Waters, thought you need to see this once. It was ok, for one time indeed, wouldn't go another time. Then again I'm not too much into Pink Floyd. Tomorrow back to familiar territory, Soundgarden.
Have to add though, full respect to still do this when 70 years old.

No need to repeat - when you see one The Wall, you've seen them all (except the difference between in and outdoors, which I ignore since I haven't seen vids of pics). Most static setlist ever But well, I've been told the experience is amazing visual and musically, and even though I can understand you when not being a devoted Pink Floyd fan, I think I will thoroughly enjoy it without being a die-hard either!
  7. I thoroughly enjoyed it
  8. In a few hours. FINALLY!!

  9. I'll be seeing Editors & Simple Minds next month.
  10. Oct. 5: All Time Low
    Oct. 7: Vampire Weekend
    Oct. 8: Arctic Monkeys
    Nov. 7: Kanye West
Nov. 22: Fitz & the Tantrums / Capital Cities
    Nov. 30: Elton John
    Dec. 11: Justin Timberlake

Haven't made up my mind about the last one yet. Largely depends on his upcoming record.

Roger Waters was totally mindblowing the other day. I hadn't cried at any concert by anyone who wasn't U2 but I broke down during Bring The Boys Back Home with all the "Every gun... Every rocket... etc" things. Truly moving. And Roger was on fire, he was absolutely pumped and being the 2nd-to-last concert of the tour (and the last at an English speaking country) he gave everything. Amazing. Absolutely amazing.

I got a setlist, of course There were no setlists due to the nature of the show (always the same set everywhere; techs carry a plastic cardboard with the setlist embebbed into it) but I managed to get one from a tech that had a printed copy (I guess from the 2011 arena tour but don't know it for sure):
