1. Wouldn't surprise me to get this album in full at Melbourne 1 next year too. 30th anniversary and it's going to attract a fair few casuals
  2. The performances of the BITUSA are being flawless - not like the previous songs (debacle at Spirit due to the lack of IEMs haha).
  3. Same now at the quieter part of Darlington. It happens the same each time Bruce goes out of the stage monitors range; the general PA is delayed a bit in order to make it sound good for the audience at the back, and when Bruce starts to listen the PA (since he doesn't carry IEMs) he starts to sing "out of tempo". It's in tempo for him, but delayed for the rest of us.
  4. Working On The Highway is no doubt one of my least favorite songs from his entire catalog. I can't stand it.

Downbound Train, on the other hand, is one of my favorites.
  5. +1
  6. I must say I have soft spots for much of BITUSA:

    Downbound Train
    I'm Going Down
    Bobby Jean
    No Surrender
    Glory Days

DT and Glory Days are two of my all time favourite songs by anyone, especially Glory Days. I just love the story to it, it's so true.

I just wouldn't like to see BITUSA in full live because A) I'd know what songs were up next for 12, and B) the album was so produced the songs are hard to replicate live
  7. +1 to everything including the soft spots (and specially the one for Glory Days, one of the first Bruce songs I loved - still do). I'd add My Hometown btw.
  8. Yeah they are actually great songs. But I can't complain about nearly anything Bruce plays.

Seems like Bruce has raced through this show - might not even make three hours
  9. It's a festival - he just can't play for as long as he or anyone else 'd wish.
  10. Dancing In The Dark is a good song but it's a bit overplayed/overwhatever, don't know what it is exactly, hard to put the finger on. But it's like "Damn, I could love it but I just can't". Strange.
  11. This has been pretty fucking epic, though (sorry for the language - it just was):

Yeah, I wouldn't miss it one bit if he decided to drop it - like he has done plenty of times in the past.

Was cool with all those people up there though, yeah. Even my mate who isn't a big Bruce fan just told me that it would be awesome doing that
