    Last news from Dublin are pointing that the band is coming back to the studios; not to the legendary HQ Studios in Dublin (which now seem to be used just as a gear storage depot), but to the Electric Lady studios in New York - specially since Bono's agenda seems to be located around NY for the next days or weeks. This would be the third time in 2013 the band goes to those studios trying to finish the album (they'd previously been recording in the Soutch coast of France and Dublin).



    A fan (Brat ,@Gpaul1972 in Twitter) was yesterday at HQ and witnessed how the techs brought out the boxes and cases in which they use to storage their recording gear; he also spoke to one of the techs and confirmed him that the band was off to USA in order to keep on with the album recording, and that they hoped to have it in stores by the end of this year. This goes finely along with Bono and Larry saying they were off Adam's wedding because they "had an album to finish". Even though 2014 was the rumoured deadline, we consider plausible that the record company has asked them to speed things up in order to have the album out by Xmas and take advantage of the sales bump. On the other hand, if the album was finally out in Spring 2014, the Grammy awards are scheduled for January 26th so the ceremony would be a nice chance to present the new single.

    Today it is the 21st of September... this is when U2 finished recording and mixing AB.

    AB came out on November 18. If they want to make it in good time for the Christmas market, the new album would have to be out in late November at the latest. If they keep recording for more than one or two weeks, I'm afraid we'll have to wait until 2014...

    Oh well: the main thing is that it be a really good/awesome/massive/stunning/successful album!
