and you wanted to sell Rooney uh Tim .. what have you put into that helmet? hehe

He was excellent against Leverkusen as was most of the football played by United. He just needs to continue to play like that on a regular basis now, he looked hungry and committed and that's what we like to see. A sharp Rooney is a threat to any team.

It's a big game on Sunday, the perfect occasion to cement his partnership with van Persie and silence United's doubters. A win would mean 10 points from 15 which isn't bad at all considering the tough start. If Tuesday was a glimpse of the football to come, I'm quite content. Chelsea aren't performing as everyone predicted and Man City have so far been poor in the league.
  2. and here we are ... 70% Indonesian
  3. Looks like Leverkusen was a blip, back to the poor United we've seen this season.
  4. You can give me a hand, Ajax is very very very poor. 75th minute and its 4-0 against PSV (For PSV)
  5. Man City obliterating United 4-0. This is some game, outstanding.
  6. dragged myself to the arena last night to see a clear 0:4 defeat of Schalke against Bayern shame

anyone of you Chelsea supporters coming over in October?
  7. Three positives to take from today:

    1. It wasn't 6-1.
    2. Rooney worked hard.
    3. Moyes took Ashley Young off.

It was poor at half-time when I posted above, but conceding two goals immediately after the restart really did kill it off. The last 20 minutes or so, Man City sat back a little and that did make United look a little more effective but it was over as a tie after 50 minutes. I think we created two good chances, one where Rooney leant back and put it in the stands and the second where Evra hit the post. That's not good enough at all. Man City were excellent, Kompany was unbeatable in defence. I just hope that the midweek game against Liverpool is more evenly matched.
  8. Pure piss United. At least the all Ireland final was good.
  9. to lift the mood of the topic we won 7 - 0
best part of it the return of Milito after 7 months .. and with a double
