1. classic after few hours of life?
then it depends on the meaning you're putting in it ..
  2. I always laugh when magazines like Rolling Stone and Q give brand new albums 5 stars and therefore are already a "classic." I think Q did this No Line on the Horizon.

    Whoops.

NME gave Arctic Monkeys' new album 10/10, going as far as saying it was one of the best albums of the last decade. Sometimes critics can a little too sexually excited about new albums.

Rolling stone is a joke rag of a mag. The owner has always kissed Bonos ass and would give anything U2 put out 5 stars worthy or not.
  5. Actually rolling stone mag says PJ new single Sirens is a "monster Love Reign Oer Me style stunner that will soothe your weary soul"

    I couldn't agree more....they got that one correct !!!

    +1, he looks amazing nowadays.

Any indication or rumour about a tour supporting the new album? I wanna see them SO BADLY.
  8. I'm estimating that they'll hit Europe next summer. No doubt they'll play a festival.

Maybe Glastonbury? Not as a headliner but first supporting act before the headliner?
  9. I heard Glastonbury 2014 will consist solely of artists that have never played Glasto before. Might be true, might be not... But that surely sounds good for PJ. No chance I can make it to Glastonbury though. I'm praying so they come to Spain with a regular show, or else I will have to travel to Italy to see them (not that I fear it, already did it for Muse and the Monkeys).

Obviously there's a HUGE amount of bias coming from this end but you don't think PJ is big enough to headline Glastonbury?

Bowie and Pearl Jam both fit into that category

I assume there would be a tour seeing as they're playing a bunch of dates this year and doing the Big Day Out over here in January.
