  11. I took a trip down to Electric Lady on Tuesday and hit the jackpot:

    * Spoke to Dallas confirmed album release date not yet known but it's pretty much ready to go
    * Band were in Electric Lady for a bit of work, a photoshoot and a staff party
    * Adam is very polite and signed a bit of vinyl for me
    * Larry denied me a pic or autograph
    * Edge actually offered to sign my album without me having to ask
    * Edge happily had a pic with me
    * Bono is the coolest man alive
    * Bono spoke away to me, my wife and another guy who was there
    * Bono had pics taken with us all

    Not only did everyone live up to their stereotype, they (for the most part) were as pleasant and accommodating as you possibly wish for. Don't ever let people say that you shouldn't meet your idols as it's not true. It's the greatest thing in the world.

    Will post pics when I get back to Edinburgh later next week. Serg - thanks for getting me online - felt like I had to share!
