1. They were so freakn good when I saw them at a festival at the start of the year, I wanted a chance to see them at their own show.

C'mon Brandon see the light. Please!
  2. This is a damn shame, I was really excited to see them go down the M83 route and get into more processed music and dance sounds. Now it just seems like they're fizzing out, and we get a lame greatest hits and another Brandon Flowers album (Flamingo sucked). Hurray.
  3. I prefer them to quit rather than take that route though

In all honestly (and I sincerely hope to be proved wrong), I think this piece of news might mark the end of The Killers.

They aren't comparable except for the fact that I was highly anticipating both releases and both let me down tremendously.
  5. Why is Brandon doing another solo album? I think there's only about two/three songs that are any good on Flamingo

the Killers haven't really had a reinvention or Achtung Baby moment yet have they? I think they really should rediscover themselves because they're pretty conservative with themselves this era...
  6. Agree.

When Battle Born was released, I said it was their Joshua Tree. I still say it. Of course it's miles away from the beast of an album that TJT is, for sure, but it is their Joshua Tree in terms of mature songs, decent album flow, the point in their career, etc. Therefore, their Achtung Baby is still to come........ If they continue.
