Looks good to me. And yes post shows lol. Allot of fan reviews mention how it almost felt like a Canadian show with all the fans in attendance.
  3. Well, there were still a lot of Lakawanna accents in the arena!

We'll obviously have to get the Pittsburgh show - and Hartford shows are usually pretty solid while the residents of Baltimore are rightfully pumped now that they are getting their fist show in many, many years which should make for a pretty good one as well.
  5. Great review Matt

Got Some ?...and in the encore ?

As my teenage daughter would say "really ? ....yes really "

Solid gig no question , but as I have been saying since July, the Brooklyn gigs are going to be the best gigs of the tour.....as were MSG 1&2 in 2010.... If not I'll be shocked and vexed lol
  6. So I gotta ask....

    1) which show was better for you?
    2) have you seen the Pitt setlist and would you prefer it?

I'm scared to look at the setlist for Philly 1 cuz it's the only one I'm not attending that's nearby. I also hate seeing the set right before and right after my show. I don't know why but there's always a song that makes me angry that I didn't get it!

Ed..the hype on the boards and the amount of discussion regarding these Bklyn shows are sky high. One if not both should be all time classics.
  7. I've been hearing a lot lately that there's only three artists left who give transcendent, one of a kind shows.

Apparently Bruce Springsteen, U2 and Pearl Jam are those three. I can agree with the first two from experience and I can guess that Pearl Jam shows are the same just from the amount of passion from you guys here. I'm really looking forward to seeing them, even if it is only a festival show

With regards to this hype surrounding the Brooklyn shows, was there a show (or few) on the 360 tour that got hyped up and had one of those auras around it in the lead up to it? I know Bruce in Gothernburg 12 had it and the only 360 example I can think of, other than the Barcelona stand, would be Anaheim 2 leading up to Glastonbury

Are you asking me to compare the Buffalo set with the Pitt one, Nick? It seems that these two shows will be a less-obvious "pair" in the same vein as the upcoming Boston, NYC, and Philly shows.

In any event, Immortality and Go were definitely the decisive factors in me preferring the Buffalo set. Also, I got songs like Black, Better Man, Nothingman, and Daughter in each of my previous two shows so I was okay to not have them. Animal and untitled/MFC would have been nice (I did get them (well, not untitled) in Auckland 1998, however) as would have Of the Girl and Footsteps.

I'll just have to keep attending more shows in the future to check more off my list.

I was actually asking between the two shows you attended. Which show was better overall ? London or Buffalo? Also the PJ stat tracker app is amazing for keeping track. I'm glad u got immortality and go! Great songs.
  10. London and Buffalo were different experiences.

I over-hyped the show and was wanting too much from the London show - namely more songs that they didn't play at the Toronto 1 show from 2011. I learned my lesson and did not go into last night's show with that mind set.

I think the London show was a great intro for my brother-in-law who attended both of them with me. The London show had a great array of songs from their back catalog. Last night's Buffalo show only kind of had this but also had a pretty high number of new stuff which is great for the big time PJ fans. All I can say is that thank goodness I got to hear the album in advance as I would not have enjoyed the evening nearly as much. I can't stress enough (or maybe I have ), however, how big a deal hearing Immortality was for me.

Don't agree so much about The Fixer, but if some band has to influence the other I'd say it would be Pearl Jam over TGA. TGA have covered Pearl Jam quite a few times, Brian Fallon has declared to be obsessed over some PJ songs, etc.

except that it's a Mike' creation
anyway sometimes he also put a Little Wing hint in it so ..
