1. To me this sounds exactly what U2 promised us. Making music for the "small places" that sounds current and relevant. To me this sounds exactly that.
  2. Yep, spot on.
  3. Agreed, which is why I can see it being a great song when it/if it comes out.

I also don't hear any real Bono cliches lyrically (yet)

    I don't think we'll have a clichè-free song, but I hope to be wrong
  5. I'm specially curious about the bridge where Nelson says "together we have power" (before Bono's falsetto), there's something going on in the background that doesn't sound like ordinary U2 at all.
  6. I like it, definitely has potential. It's nice to have some new music from the band after so long.
  7. Really though, I can't stop listening to it and that dialogue is now hilarious.

  8. haha, yes it is I've listened to it quite a few times too, I'm liking it. Intriguing as I said before. Good vocals from Mr Hewson from what we can hear. What I dislike the most so far is the final part with the guitar and all, it sounds a bit too poppy for my liking, but otherwise it's really enjoyable even being one minute and not entirely listenable.
  9. It's surprisingly not too poppy for me. I've been one of the many advocating for Passengers 2, but I also knew in my heart that U2 wouldn't do it, and it's not what they said they'd be doing anyway. To me this is sounds like a great compromise, it's definitely different for U2, it definitely sounds current and it sounds really good!
  10. By now, all I can say is: sounds new and promising, but I'd love to hear the full version of it.

About U2.com, well...it's U2.com... As Sergio said, they created all the big excitment about this. They should have released the full song after using those words, or they should have used other words...
