    I've tried and tried and tried and tried to get into Bon Iver - no sucess. It just bores me to tears. Not my cup of tea I guess.

    I thought the same thing about Bon Iver, the only song I cared for was Skinny Love. Then at Coachella in 2012 they were on right before Radiohead so I had to "stand through it" and they sounded FANTASTIC live it was bizarre, I think it's one of those things where you have to be in the frame of mind for it. I don't listen to them much but every now and then they'll move me to tears... bizarre.

    an album that i would not have expected by him at this point but he surprised me .. it's quite good, i enjoyed listening to it .. maybe a bit tiring toward the end but i probably better listening to those songs by themselves and not in a single run of the whole album
  6. This has its good and bad, but all around I like the idea. If I ever get back with the old band, this sounds like something we would do to this song.

    You know, people forget that he can harness cool and weird soundscapes if he really wants to. "Hosanna" is a great example.
