A little overplayed. I understand on the backspace tour but it shouldn't be in every setlist now. I do enjoy my "gems and rhinestones" part but after that I'm over the song lol.
I regret to say that this sort of turned into a disappointing setlist. It got off to a great start (and I suppose you can't knock the Chloe/Crown combo) but as they near the end of the first encore it is becoming quite likely that no 'new-to-the-tour' songs will be played.
No..I dont get the connection with Aint Talkin Bout Love and Hartford....the Van Halen brothers were born in Amsterdam..and grew up in Cali..were they met Diamond Dave and Anthony
Odd..but they made up for it with that extra long first encore...

Do The Evolution
Better Man.............................solid end to a good set that was above average until 3 mediocre tunes killed the vibe
ENCORE 1
Yellow Moon
Come Back....dont like it at all in the encore or even being played at this point Footsteps or Hard to Imagine instead please
Future Days...Hmm.. I like it, its a good new tune but its so frigging boring/slow,crowd loses focus
Chloe Dancer >
Crown Of Thorns......EPIC
Eruption
Ain't Talkin 'Bout Love
Given To Fly
Got Some..............awful ..I just dont get EVs love for this tune ..BLACK ?????
Wasted Reprise

Crazy Mary
Go
Alive
Fuckin' Up.....LOVE IT
Indifference......great encore...Ill take Indifference over RITFW YL anyday on a 1 off gig
Overal I would have left happy......but of course none of these shows will compare to the greatness that was Brooklyn....
The last time they played it in Hartford was for the women's basketball team that played there because they had won loads of games or several championships, something like that. Maybe the team are still doing excellent so they played it again. When they covered it in 2010, it sounded excellent.
I'd be delighted with those final four songs. Thrash out 'Go', sing along 'Alive', great crowd participation for the epic 'Fuckin' Up', then the wonderfully mellow 'Indifference' to end it.
I think 'Fuckin' Up' is probably one of the best covers they do.
