And this is the first official new song in 3 years, come on...
Even though it's probably not on the album, HMTMKMKM, Hands that built America, Window in the Skies, Two shots of happy, one shot of sad... Were also at least very interesting and imo pretty good songs that weren't on an album.

I can't really explain it, maybe because U2's "campaigns" have had a much stronger effect on me than single releases have, especially when those singles aren't even part of a bigger idea. I know I'm not the only one around here who's the kind of person who sits down and listens to full albums by ANY artist, but albums excite me, and when songs are part of albums they excite me a lot more than just songs on their own.
  2. Would like to remind that we still DO NOT know if the song will be part of the album or is a one-off, movie-only thing.

  3. I know it hasn't been confirmed, but I think it HAS been confirmed (read it in more than one place) that it was written FOR the movie. Based on that I'd say it's probable it's a one-off.
  4. When did Ground Beneath Her Feet come out? I remember it being early in 2000 which would put it in same year as AYCLB
So this is kind of a tease of what's to come.
  5. Probably movie only.

The movie was released on early February and the sountrack on mid March, both 2000 - so 7-8 months before ATYCLB. The song was written and recorded for the movie but the band wanted it on the album (even if it ended up only on UK and Japan editions).
  7. I hope it's movie only, I'd hate the band to recycle material.
  8. I'm sure the second track - it's going to be this one (i like it's ending):

    Breathe (Alternate Version)
  9. I think I'm slightly more excited about Breathe alternate version then about Ordinary Love.....
  10. great artwork for that vinyl thingie
