1. Wake Up is as big a song to Arcade Fire than One, Streets or Pride. I don't think it's going anywhere.

  2. U2 in 2010 is not comparable to AF's current position, U2 have been going for 35 years while AF barely touch the decade landmark.

You'd have to look at U2 in 1987 to get a similar position, and there, they stopped performing huge songs like Out Of Control, Electric Co or 11 O'Clock Tick Tock, which they had been playing for the past 10 years...

I think it's logical if AF stop performing huge songs like Wake Up, Neighborhood or Rebellion (Lies). I haven't seen them live yet and I would be pissed if I saw them and they don't play the awesome Wake Up, but I would understand it.
  3. I don't think they've dropped any of the classics, these are still promo tours. The longest show they've done this year were about 13/14 songs and 10 of them are new songs. Once the tour starts properly they'll throw in some classics.
  4. They can do what they want as long as Power Out/Rebellion stays.
  5. I've got new favorite from the album. It's 'Awful Sound'. It's completely mesmerising.

  6. Definitely agree, my favorite, already got it down on guitar and I love playing along.

    Amazing song
  7. It's a lovely song indeed. The album is still amazing me. It isn't as accessible as Suburbs but I think it's better for it. Time will tell.
  8. Confirmed for a festival in Barcelona. Skipping it for the moment, but if no other news arise, it might be an option...

  9. I'm expecting them to get a Glastonbury slot. Not sure where a tour will fit in with all these festivals.

  10. Isn't that one of the rumours? Bowie, FF, Arcade Fire? I can definitely see it working
