    Not expected at all...
And it's true what you've said about Iceland
I'm rooting for them too as Eidur Gudjohnsen plays for Club Brugge and because they're the underdogs.
  2. Players in Brazilian domestic leagues have banded together to protest at the length of their football season and punishing fixture congestion.

Players in all seven games on Wednesday night crossed their arms at the start of the game and refused to play for several moments while others, who had been threatened with a booking, just passed the ball back and forth between one another.

I always was consternated about the amount of matches they play every season
  5. Lost in translation probably
I meant that cyclists have to ride at 45km/h, for 5 hours, almost everyday, and they never complain. And now soccer players are going to whine when they have to play 90 minutes 2 or 3 times a week.
  6. Zlatan Such a shame that he has to play with 10 bad players. Especially the defense.

Great peformance by Ronaldo again, now just a bit of change in his behaviour.
  7. Mymy Ronaldo. Simply lethal.

As a cyclist I tend to agree.
  9. Some famous Gerard sarcasm ?

Poor performance by Belgium against Japan. And Japan was surprisingly good actually. Very technical players that needed little room to pass or make actions. Still a lot of work for Brasil !
  10. Poor Iceland and Romania, at least Lloris went through with France. Lots of Spurs players to watch next year, cant wait.
