I recorded a guitar cover with me replacing Edge on the Milan version of AIWIY, it's only one take and there are some mistakes, but I'm pretty happy with it :) Recommended by Drew who thought I should share it with all of you.

Gotta love the description! BUY MORE MUSIC!!

Very well done in terms of playing and guitar tone. Are you using a Herdim plectrum (or any other rough-sided pick)? The only thing that your tone lacks -or I cannot hear- is the "grit" that the rough side of the pick adds.

Then I can't definitely hear the same grit as I'm used to. Do you hold it backwards?
