  3. All Those Yesterdays.......awesome...

Future Days (is on now), is such a buzz kill I have to say...my wife has a few gfs over..and she just said to me "can I turn this boredom off"..ouch..she's a Soundgarden fan, and is not pleased with Matts decision by the way...lol
  4. What a night Ed. What a night. Was awesome meeting u at this show, ill never forget this night! EV murdering right now on Blood!! So late in the set is so cruel to his voice and he fucking nails it. Anxious fir black, betterman was one of the best I've heard.
  5. 10 seconds into Black... Chills already

  6. Chills indeed......night was nothing short of brilliant.....was fun meeting you....
  7. Just so you two know, there we 23 other shows on this 2013 NA tour and I'll have to use some of them on my mix.

Rule of thumb: Every show gets at least one, if not two, performances.

Great opening.. Release into Long Road !?!? The start of Release is a bit off. Ed missed his ohhmmmmmmm stops, and did it again. I didn't get the usual chill.

Long Road sounds great 2nd and this must have been something to witness live. The song itself is a mess here unfortunately . Wrong chords , missed words .

Small Town is welcomed early , and this is a great opening hat trick . Crowd as always eat it up. The band sound shaky though.

LB MYM and the classic Hail Hail picks things up bigtime.

The band seem to wake up during that rocking run. Whatever fog they were in has worn off . (LB sounds like someone's guitar is out of tune for the first half).

Sirens sounds way off. Ed is late and it just doesn't sound as good as it did in Pitt. Ed struggles with the high notes .

NAIS sounds great and should get a lot more playtime IMO.

Red Mosquito Whippingq and Corduroy is another great 3 song run. RM is such a great tune and needs more play !

Infallible sounds decent , but the very boring Got Some follows, running into another boring tune, the oh hum Save You. Talk about a piss/ beer run bunch of tunes.

Thank God Leash appears , but the boring Let Records play follows killing the excitement .

Leash Evolution and Better Man would have been a much better way to wrap up the set.

Encore 1 Man of the Hour Yellow Moon (love it) Fatal and Just Breathe. Fatal is ok but that isn't what I would have been looking for. Boring slow run of tunes, one after the other.....maybe Hard to Imagine and Oceans ??

The rest of encore(s) is good not great.

I love Indifference and Mary, but Last Kiss and Sonic don't cut it for me in Encore 2.

    4 stars
solid, but at times shaky show
Too many great tunes for an under 4 rating IMO.

Highlights : Nothing as it Seems, Red Mosquito, Whipping, Hail Hail, Leash

Release > Long Road are always highlights , but both sounded off ....

There's much I don't agree with from Ed's review of this show so I won't say too much about it other than:

On paper, Release into Long Road is epic. Unfortunately, EV had a minor mistake in the first one and a major one (or two) in the second one.

Great to see Hail, Hail in the set..same as Nothing As It Seems. I actually thought they did a nice job with Swallow Hole in this show. I seemed to like Red Mosquito the more I hear it - I didn't like this song two years ago.

    Whipping and Corduroy rock

Like Ed, I still don't like Got Some. Unlike Ed, I enjoy Save You (I think we'll disagree about this song until we are on our death beds!). - -- Leash is a classic (although not the best performance of it - intro is a bit flat.)

EV just can't hit that opening wail on Do The Evolution so far - he also completely messes up the opening lyrics to the song. Come on, EV, you've sung this song over 400 times!

Better Man dedicated to the then-hero-of-the-moment, David Ortiz.

The acoustic set is fine - nothing overly special.

I really love the run of Spin The Black, Unthought Known, and Porch here. It worked for me here.

If there's a PJ song that I don't like, it's Last Kiss. I have tried to like it. I've giving up trying.

    A generous four stars
  9. Too soon for a review but I think Boston 2 is shorter but sweeter.

"Let Me Sleep" is one that the diehards were begging for...I am surprised they didn't go as long as 40 songs...I'm shocked Stone didn't get to sing "Mankind"...a bit disappointed that some other yet-to-be-played songs didn't make into the set list...however, I wasn't there and the crowd/performances were probably/hopefully great.
  11. As a life-fan of U2, I find it quite funny that fans can be disappointed to get 36 songs and an objectively great setlist
  12. Last Repost of this for 2013:
All that's left to be played from the studio albums are:

    Ten: done!

    Vs: WMA (was "tagged," however.)

Vitalogy: just the (imho) stupid songs

No Code: Who You Are, I'm Open, and Mankind (Stone's turn will come)

    Yield: done!

    Binaural: Rival and Evacuation

Riot Act: Love Boat Captain, Ghost, Help Help, Bu$hleaguer, Get Right, Green Disease, and Arc

Self Titled: Marker in the Sand

Backspacer: Johnny Guitar and Force of Nature

Notable Lost Dogs: Brother, Hold On (Wrigley doesn't count), U, Black Red Yellow, Dead Man, Undone, and DIRTY FRANK (also In The Moonlight, Hitchhiker, Diftin, Angel, and Just a Girl)

On to the South Pacific for six shows in early 2014!
