The most preferable group was "Belgium - Algeria - Russia - USA" (not that far off!) because you've got bigger chances to qualify.
+ Minimal transportations, better climate, more time to prepare...
They really should qualify.

Btw, funny how Van Gaal wanted to play against us and seems a bit jealous / disappointed.

Yeah Chili should be hard, but not as hard as Spain. If Holland will go through the group the second round will be against Brazil, well than its done

Your draw is good, but not really exciting, right? Belgium should get into the next round (I hope) but I don't know if you guys are good enough to play against teams who will only defend and wait for a mistake by the Belgium.

And Van Gaal pffff, please don't take him seriously, horrible man. But he should be jealous haha, you guys really got lucky with the teams but also with the traveling.
But the most people I know here hope Belgium will do great, me too. I've never been a big Dutch team fan. Sure I hope they will do good but Belgium, Italy, Germany and Uruguay are my other favourite teams on this tournament.

You never know... Frankly, I thought the same about the Netherlands in 2010. They weren't very impressive in the first round, but ended up in the final. And you could've won it too.

Nope it isn't that exciting, but it was the same against Scotland, Macedonia and Wales for the qualifications.

Why aren't you a big fan ?! I went to Holland for the match against Uruguay in 2010, too witness the "Oranje gekte" for once. It's just insane. Whole your country is orange when you play. Maaaaybe a bit over the top actually

Hmm I think Brazil might take it... OR Argentina, which would be a nightmare for the Brazilians in their own country. But I can see it happen.

I meant favourites in teams I hope will do well, or at least teams I will follow during the tournament

But I also think Germany will win the WC, otherwise Brasil.

Lowietje does think he is god, I always thought he was funny, but when he starting acting like that every match, interview and pressconference I found it annoying.

I'm not a big fan probably because of the ''Oranje gekte'', I like a party every now and than but during football I just wanna watch the game and be able to follow it. Other than that I always find it annoying how everything becomes orange even before the tournament has started.
The last two tournaments where horrible imo, altough we got into the final in 2010 I've only seen one good game (against Brazil). With Van Gaal that has changed a bit, but still it's not very good.

But more important

AC Milan - Ajax this week, I think we have a change of getting into the second round for the first time in ?? years. Milan isn't that good anymore, aren't in a great shape while Ajax is.
Italians normally always stay calm and make it when the are under pressure, but I hope that that will be different this time.

And Tim, what the hell is going on with United? I watched the first half against Newcastle but what a poor team

Only Januzaj brought something suprising every now and than. I really can't stand Nani btw, overrated, selfish player.

We ( Argentina ) are veeeerryy happy with pur draw. Even in the second round and quarter finals we have a good draw. Better was impossible. Of course we have to play ( and win ) every match but the first step is done. Is very important the draw

I think it will be hard to Brazil , Spain and Germany .

Group A: Brazil, Croatia, Mexico, Cameroon

Brazil and Croatia are the favourites . Mexico is not easy but they had the poorest team in years and with Cameroon you will never know but the dont have great players

Group B: Spain, Netherlands, Chile, Australia

i think Spain and Netherlands will pass...but they dont have an easy matches agaisnt Chile and Aussies

Group C: Colombia, Greece, Ivory Coast, Japan

Colombia can be the surprise of the WC . They can win the group and have team /players to go foward.

Group D: Uruguay, Costa Rica, England, Italy

uhhhh death group ...3 wc champions... Italy and Uruguay

Group E : Switzerland, Ecuador, France, Honduras

Hard to think what will happen here .... maybe France and Switzerland. Anyway i think Ecuador have chances

Group F: Argentina, Bosnia-Hercegovina, Iran, Nigeria

Argentina have to classificate without problems ...Nigeria second ?

Group G: Germany, Portugal, Ghana, USA

Another tough group... Germany and Portugal will classificate but they don t have easy matches

Group H: Belgium, Algeria, Russia, South Korea

Nice chance to Belgium and Russia to go foward

there are some very interesting groups with great matches and others at lower level but very balanced i guess and interesting as well i think (C H and also E)
Germany and you were quite lucky i'd say
combinations could lead to have the best matches before the semifinals
for what directly concern me:
Uruguay, Italia 7
England 3
Costarica 0
