1. Let's face it, it's not there on merit, it's there because Mandela passed.
  2. Let you know on saturday where it is on the charts over here

  3. It was pretty popular before Mandela's passing I think.

  4. Yeah it was doing pretty well before Mandela's passing, but his death certainly helped it...
  5. Well in that case, I stand corrected. It just goes to show how often I listen to the radio and how much interest I have in the charts.

I don't listen to radio any often either, but coincidentally I've been listening to quite a bit of it during this past 2 weeks (new car, no mp3 sound system yet) and I can swear I've stumbled across Ordinary Love at least once a day no matter which station I was tuning (of course, I only listen to decent radio stations, no techno or electronic music for me). And once or twice a day in different stations is A LOT, I think. That, added to the amount of friends who've posted the song or told me they liked it, leads me to think it was being a hit.
That said, it has been magnified with Mandela's passing of course.
  7. I love Ordinary Love just the way it is and I don't care if it sounds a little like Every Breaking Wave. Will let you know saturday what it's at on the charts here.
