    Third Place
  2. I'm looking forward to it. I'm sure it's completely different. But it will be good, because ever 'change of style' U2 did, was truly awesome. Even Pop, though many people don't like it. To me that one's still great too.

I'm not worried. It will be a good choice, i'm pretty sure about that!
  3. I'd love to hear Edge go fully tecnhical with the Delay again, oh man...how i'd love that...

As long as it has a new version of Mercy i'm happy

  4. Hey guys, I was reading my monthly issue of Rollingstone Nov. 29, 2007 issue.
And there's alot of talk about Joshua Tree (of course) However, I came across some very exciting news on upcoming releases from the band. It's in the Rock&Roll section of the mag.

The name of the article is 'Joshua Tree' Tturns 20 by Brian Hiatt
I couldn't find it online so I thought I'd type a little bit of this article.

" In addition to a remaster of the album and a DVD, the package includes a full Cd's worth of outtakes and B sides. "It demonstrates how fruitful a period it was, to have that much good stuff to leave off the album," says U2 manager Paul McGuinness, adding that the band's entire catalog will see similar treatment over the next couple of years. "We will work through all the records and make them special in a new way."

    Further in the article..
On U2's next album, due sometime in 2008, Lanois and Eno have become full partners in the band's writing process for the first time -and Lanois says the spirit of the project reminds him of The Joshua Tree. " This new work has it's emotion entact," he says. " Eno has come up with these incredible exotic beginnings: He's been playing these things that transport you to a picturesque place. We're going to make the big one".

So there you have it Friends, The Big One. It gets my senses going just thinking about it.

I just re-quoted part of your article Rox. This does sound interesting, about the entire catalogue and I'd be extremely interested in hearing what they'll come up with.

From hearing the various Unreleased and Rare tunes I honestly was glad they re-did some tracks. The original of City of Blinding Lights would be awesome.
