Born in the USA and Born to Run, for sure. They are his most accessible albums and biggest sellers for a reason.

If you want to stick to studio albums, I think Born To Run is the one.

Other than that, I started to be a Bruce fan with The Essential (3CD compilation of his works until 2003) and Live 1975-85, both of them borrowed from my uncle (to whom we call Pato by the way ).

For sure your uncle is very smart

Thank you for the info !!

    Thank you too !
  4. don't remember which dates you'll do Dylan but there could be a chance to get Eddie onstage on 5 in Perth or 15 in Melbourne
  5. Melbourne. He won't get on stage in Melbourne I don't think, unfortunately, because Bruce will probably bring Mark Seymour up. Lead singer of Hunters and Collectors, of which PJ sing Throw Your Arms Around Me, as you'd know. Hopefully they both come up!

    I'm

    Melbourne x2
    Sydney
    Brisbane
  6. in Chicago 2012 he brought both Morello and Eddie up

  9. The E Steetband as itself deserves absolutely a star in The Rock Hall of Fame and also a Grammy!!

Question about the Darkness tour 1978, especially the broadcast shows. On many forums Springsteen fans have the opinion that these shows the best Springsteen period is.

So which 1978 concert do I have to listen??
  10. every single concert!!!!

a little bit more serious ... Passaic 21 sep (or 20), Winterland 15 dec (but 16 as well) are a great start indeed
but you can go also with of from The Palladium NYC or from the Spectrum and Music Hall in Boston
i love the starting date of the tour in Buffalo too (first The Promise full band) also for the meaning of it
  11. Passaic 78-09-19/20/21
    San Franciso 78-12-15
    Cleveland Agora
    Largo
    Kansas
  12. Bruce about US dates
"We're looking around now to see what we might do," says Springsteen. "I don't want to say 'yes' because I don't want to disappoint people, but I certainly don't want to rule it out either. We're looking closely out at since there's places we missed on the last tour. We didn't get to Texas, where I love to play. We didn't get to Florida either. It might be fun to get back to some of those places."

    Landau about boxsets
"This year also marks the 30th anniversary of Springsteen’s smash Born in the U.S.A. but his manager Jon Landau says there are no plans to celebrate that with a deluxe reissue – at least not yet. "There's ongoing work on a River box set," says Landau. "Maybe we’ll do that first. And we're doing some major work on his first two albums [1973's Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J. and The Wild, the Innocent & the E Street Shuffle] as we speak. Those will be forthcoming."
