1. Never had it but I'm sure I've seen it over here. The name rings a bell.
  2. Damnit, I've searched it up and down (even in specialized Italian stores) and never been able to get it. Peroni is superb (my dad is a beer lover and it's among his favs) but Moretti La Rossa is even better for me. Give it a try sometime and tell me
  3. No actually, I think it's just Biera Moretti that I've seen before. I take it there is a difference between La Rossa and just ordinary Biera Moretti? I need to hunt that down and give it a go.
  4. Yeah, of course there is a difference. Standard Moretti is a bit more bitter, more like a lager. La Rossa has some liquorice scent and a slight fruit taste that makes it really special to me, reminds me of a Guinness in a sense.

If you write "birra moretti la rossa..." on Google, the first suggested word to follow is "UK", so I guess it's pretty appreciated (and hunted) over there
  5. The store I work for, Tesco, sells Birra Moretti - 4 bottles (660ml) for £6, and I get staff discount for that. Might get some after work tomorrow night.
  6. Not a bad deal for 660ml bottles. In drinking less and less beer now days. Replaced it with Whiskey. Still have to drink it with mixers but hoping to work my way back to drinking it straight or on the rocks.
  7. Four 660 mL bottles for 6 pounds? Wow, that is some deal

Ok Gerard, so we shall expect more visits of yours to this thread from now on.
  8. Just found out that Tesco are selling that La Rossa stuff in 330ml bottles.

  9. Lucky you! Give it a try - I hope you like it!
  10. Ladies and gentleman i annouce my return to this thread

    HUZZAH
  11. Speaking of trying new beers, I was finally given the opportunity to try Guinness the other night, dedicated the beer to our favorite Irish band.
  12. I tried two new beers tonight one tasted like a pine tree
