1. hey, i'm a drummer also! nice to meet ya!

    and agree, so weird that Matt messes this up.

    wonder why they chose to use the hi-hat counting when they have performed the song since 2011, then without any hi-hat.

    edit; Ed even gestures to Stone to tell Matt he is out of sync;

  2. It started with Hartford. Brooklyn has no HH counting in it. It sounds so bad in that video!! Wow
  3. I like how EV is flipping out..he finally goes over to face Matt and tells him to cool it......Dave Matthews always faces his drummer (Carter) and the band rely on Carter to keep them in time......Matt doesn't need to add any of that hh nonsense..........
  4. Carter is my all time favourite drummer, rarely misses a beat. that is until Two Step back in Brooklyn 2012. LOL Dave got pretty crazy too;

  5. speaking of drummers, this may be the lousiest version ever of 40. what an anti-climax to end a tour with that poor "drum solo" (at 4:40). Larry looks like he's bored as hell. and it shows. this ending was even cut from the U22 release.

  6. Carter is def one of the greats and I'm not a fan of DMB..... I respect them immensely though. Larry is definitely not known for his technical skills. He just has a very unique approach in the studios. He's beats are definitely not the first thing I think when hearing the music and that's what makes him special.
  7. Back on topic lol....

    Are we definitely getting boots this week? Hard to tell when I don't hear them on siriusxm.
  8. If there was to be a "break," now would be the time since they've released all of leg 1. Did they not air any last Friday?

    I am still hoping for Dallas and OKC this week. It's weird, however, that the most recent three shows weren't ever available on the 10c site and have been taken down by livedownloads.

  9. lol..OMG I was at this show down front in the GA !..Dave freaked out when Carter messed up..watched Stephan's reaction..lol

    Carter is a beast..the whole band (DMB) are insanely talented..Stefan Lessard is one of the best bass players in rock...and the band were fortunate to have Jeff Coffin step in for the late great LeRoi Moore, after his passing in August 2008....live DMB are one of the best..with PJ as my top 2 live acts.

    I was a bit disappointed when PJ used Pendulum to open so many shows in Oct....if DMB did this on a 2 night stand in the same city, their fans (including me) would scream of the outrageous laziness..........both bands spoil me, as far as their live sets....U2 on the other hand....

    I hear you Ed but I really don't consider Pendulum the opener. Obviously it literally is but if they neglected their " openers" then I would be outraged. I actually love what they did. Pendulum is becoming one my my favorite songs off the new album and I'm sure in the future ill be hoping to see it open. I'm glad I got to see it 3 times. Big Picture is 83 diff songs between BKLYN and PH and that's what counts. And don't get me started with U2 setlists....
  12. Wow Chloe/Crown Bklyn 1 is crazy good....
